A hand-drawn experience for the Story of Joy

For The Story of Joy, NewSpring’s Christmas series, we created a custom opener that served double duty: opening the live event and driving ad creative across digital platforms. Every element from illustrations to animation was hand-drawn and animated in-house to capture the warmth and wonder of the season.

To differentiate the Christmas experience from the rest of the teaching series, we expanded the color palette to include traditional reds and greens alongside the existing brand blue. We also designed and animated LED screen assets, textured counters, and illustrated patterns to give the entire event a cohesive, storybook-inspired look that felt both festive and uniquely NewSpring.
